Nippon Paint has launched three different purpose exterior paints in September this year. All three paints - TimberCoat, SolarShield and RoofGuard - provide excellent protection from weather conditions.

Nippon Paint's TimberCoat provides excellent protection and colour consistency on exterior wooden surfaces. TimberCoat, a water-based acrylic paint, also offers excellent durability and good adhesion. The paint provides a low-sheen finish and protection against fungus and moulds as it contains light-fast pigments and an effective mould control additive. The new TimberCoat, which comes in six different colours, are sold in one and five litre cans, retailing at $14.50 and $48 respectively at all leading hardware stores.

Another new exterior paint Nippon Paint is launching to protect against exposure to sunlight is SolarShield, a durable pigmented varnish that provides long-lasting protection for your wooden surfaces. With a special resin that filters out UV rays, it protects your wood furniture from cracking, flaking and peeling. The outcome is a water- resistant transparent finish that highlights the natural beauty of the wood grain.SolarShield, which comes in a five-litre can, is suitable for all types of wood surfaces. This new paint is retailing at $73 at all leading hardware stores.

The third exterior paint Nippon Paint is launching is RoofGuard, a high quality and durable acrylic-based emulsion paint that protects roof tiles. It provides strength and reinforcement on the durability of roof tiles. How does it do it? RoofGuard contains light-fast and alkali-resistant pigments that becomes the first line of defence to constant weather exposure.

In addition, thepaint which contains an effective mould-control additive not only protects the tiles from fungi, it also produces a semi-gloss finish.

RoofGuard, retailing at $72 for a five-litre can, is available at all leading hardware stores.
